Prologue

Inception of www.eophtha.com was started on July,2008 in New delhi as www.ophthapg.blogspot.com .I got a good response -2,500 visitors in first year.It was basically an email from Dr. Babu Rajendran,then AIOS president which made me to think of hosting a website for the ophthalmologist.www.eophtha.com is unique in the sense that the website is designed and maintained by an ophthalmologist.Dr.Rupak Ray,a close friend of mine,helped a lot in writing up the content of the website.My childhood friend Mr.Basab Bijoy Purkayastha arranged the webhost.And my beloved wife,farah gave me the seed money i,e the amount to buy the webspace for www.eophtha.com .
